Like all great travellers, I have seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

United Kingdom - They might like it up 'em

by Mike Levy

Thetford - a small market town in deepest Norfolk, is the classic off-the-beaten track place.  It's a town of fine flint cottages, handsome Victorian buildings, a pretty river, England’s largest castle mound and a very illustrious son; Thomas Paine (of the USA's founding fathers). What is less well known, is Thetford, miles inland, was the place Dad's Army was filmed - it WAS Warmington-on-Sea. Now there's a special museum to commemorate the famous Home Guard platoon. Any reports?
